Our 2023 Tours

UK cycle tours start and finish at our base in Aldbury, near Tring in Hertfordshire, except the  Devon & Cornwall tours (see tour pages for details).

The Tour de Normandie starts and finishes at the Ouistreham (Caen) ferry terminal.

 

Our tours are designed to be challenging but achievable as long as you have the necessary level of cycling fitness. Please speak to us if you are unsure – we want you to enjoy your time on Glaudax!

Tours are subject to cancellation with full refund if a minimum number of 8 participants is not reached.

Wye Valley tour – 4 days, 400 km

  • Friday 21 – Monday 24 April

  • Friday 6 – Monday 9 October

East Anglia tour – 6 days, 600 km

  • Sunday 7 – Friday 12 May

  • Sunday 25 – Friday 30 June

 

Tour de Normandie – 6 days, 620 km

  • Sunday 21 – Friday 26 May

  • Sunday 10 – Friday 15 September

 

Snowdonia tour – 6 days, 770 km

  • Sunday 4 – Friday 9 June

TAILOR-MADE TOURS
If you would like us to arrange a tour for your group, please contact us to discuss your requirements. It could be one of the above tours on dates to suit you or we could design a completely different tour in the UK or overseas to suit your needs.

The following information applies to all our tours:

WHAT IS INCLUDED

  • Hotel / guest house accommodation in ensuite twin rooms on a bed and breakfast basis:

- 3 nights for 4-day tours

- 5 nights for 6-day tours

- 7 nights for 8-day tour

Subject to availability, solo cyclists can choose either to be paired with others of the same gender, or pay a single room supplement

  • Breakfast at the Greyhound Inn on Day 1 of the tour except the Devon & Cornwall tours and the Tour de Normandie

  • Breakfast at Café Barbera on Day 1 of 8-day Devon & Cornwall tour

  • Breakfast at Ouistreham ferry terminal on Day 1 of Tour de Normandie

  • Luggage transfer every day to the evening destination

  • Rescue service if you break down or get into difficulties

  • Water and a variety of sweet and savoury snacks from the Glaudax support van from time to time on the road

  • Daily GPX routes via some of the most spectacular and remote scenery that Britain and Normandy have to offer

  • Informative roadbook including daily route maps and profile, suggested coffee and lunch stops

  • Finishers meal at the Greyhound Inn at the end of the tour except the Devon & Cornwall tours and the Tour de Normandie

  • Finishers meal at Café Barbera at the end of 8-day Devon & Cornwall tour

 
WHAT IS NOT INCLUDED

  • Cycle hire – you should bring your own bike as we do not offer this service

  • Insurance – travel, cycle, third-party liability – please ensure you have adequate cover – see FAQ page "Do I need insurance?"

  • Lunches and evening meals

  • Single room supplement

  • Return ferry crossings to France – book your crossings with bicycle here

  • Car parking at the tour start/finish location – see FAQ page "Where do Glaudax tours start and finish?"

 

PAYMENT

 

  • £200 non-refundable deposit: payable at time of booking

  • Your booking is not confirmed until we have received your deposit

  • Full balance: payable 2 months before tour start date

  • Your booking may be cancelled if we do not receive your balance of payment by the due date
